Christian McBride, along with drummer Antonio Sanchez, is on tour with Pat Metheny’s Trio. McBride first played with Metheny in the early 90’s, but admits it didn’t go as well as this time around.
The Trio, together since 2003, is set to release their first album, “Day Trip”, in January, 2008.
Jazz bassist Reuben Rogers and his group will perform at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 8pm.
Bassist Scott Colley replaces Marc Johnson in John Abercrombie’s Third Quartet shows, November 5th and 6th at The Dakota, in Minneapolis.
John Patitucci is on the road, with a variety of bands and line-ups, including his own Trio.
