Stanley Clarke Joins Heads Up

Legendary bassist Stanley Clarke has joined Heads Up International to pursue various audio and video opportunities. Clarke joins a roster including Mike Stern, the Jaco Pastorius Word of Mouth Big Band, Walter Beasley and the Yellowjackets. Cleveland-based Heads Up, which is a division of Telarc, plans to produce and release Clarke’s albums and videos over the next few years.

Grateful Dead bassist diagnosed with cancer; expects full recovery
