Geddy Lee & Rush go retro, need a break

Hot on the heels of Rush’s Retrospective 3 release, rumors are flying that a new concept album will be next. Bassist/vocalist Geddy Lee dispels the myths: “We haven’t even discussed our next work yet. Right now we’re all taking a well-needed break.”

In comments to metalunderground.com, Lee goes on to remind us that his band is celebrating it’s 35th anniversary this year and definitely feeling it. “We’re pooped and we’re not spring chickens anymore, so we do need that break.”

Retrospective 3 is now available as both individual CD and two-disc CD/DVD set. It covers the trio’s last twenty years, including live recordings from the 2008 tour and remixed tracks. The DVD features 10 music videos, a rare televised performance of Tom Sawyer and interviews with the band members.
