Adam Nitti: Liminal [new release]
Bassist, producer and music educator Adam Nitti has just released his fourth album, Liminal, a collection of jazz, funk, R&B, rock and blues tunes written, arranged and produced by Nitti.
Nitti’s supporting cast includes Marco Sfogli and Tom Quayle on guitar, Alex Argento on keys, and Marco Minnemann on drums. Other musicians making appearances include Jeff Coffin on tenor sax, Phil Keaggy and Shane Theriot on guitar, Steve Cunningham on lap steel, Michael Whittaker on keys, Marcus Finnie and Doug Belote on drums, and Johnny Neel on the Hammond B-3.
“The sheer talent displayed by this collection of musicians made my job as producer quite easy.” Nitti shares. “For this album, I wanted each player to have complete freedom to follow their own instincts. The result is a collection of tunes that reflects a true ensemble production, as opposed to an album that just sounds like it is centered around the bass player.”
