Rascal Flatts bassist: new album is “more country, less pop”

Rascal Flatts’ newest CD, Unstoppable;, released this week and promises to be “a bit more country and less pop” than some of the band’s other releases, according to the band’s bassist and songwriter, Jay DeMarcus.

The band already enjoys top billing on the country music charts with over 20 million albums sold in the past 10 years.

DeMarcus said “there are times where good old-fashioned country music is still the best thing in the world”.
