Jorma Kaukonen & Vital Parts: Rockpalast Performance

Following Hot Tuna’s breakup in the late 70’s, guitarist Jorma Kaukonen formed Vital Parts with bassist Denny DeGorio and ex-Hot Tuna drummer Bob Steeler. On November 29, 1980, the group performed live at Rockpalast at the Kleine Westfalenhalle in Dortmund, Germany. A DVD of the band’s performance from that show, Rockpalast: West Coast Legends, Vol. 2, is being released this week.
