Allman Brothers joined by Stanley Clarke for “Beacon Box”

The Allman Brothers celebrated their 40th anniversary in March by performing 15 sold out shows at the Beacon Theater in New York City. As part of the celebration, the band invited several musicians to join them, including bassists Stanley Clarke and Phil Lesh.

All 15 performances were recorded and will soon be released as “Beacon Box”, dedicated to the band’s namesake and founder, Duane Allman.

Each performance will be sold separately as well. Everything is available for pre-order at Hittin’ the Note. The release is expected to ship in May.
