Christian McBride and Stanley Clarke to perform at Detroit International Jazz Festival

This year marks the 30th of this critically acclaimed jazz festival. Many of the best Jazz musicians from around the world will travel to Detroit and help celebrate this historical event, those of which include the talents of Christian McBride, Stanley Clarke, and many, many others.

Christian McBride will perform with his new quintet. Stanley Clarke, on the other hand, will not be heading his own band, but will be performing with the Chick Corea Trio (Christian McBride’s usual gig).

Other artists to perform include the Brubeck Family, the John Pizzarelli Quartet with special guest Bucky Pizzarelli, Wayne Shorter, Sheila Jordan, and T.S Monk. The list goes on.

The event will take place September 4th, and run through September 7th.
