Creedence Clearwater Revisited

Creedence Clearwater Revisited

In a recent interview with The Tribune, Creedence Clearwater Revisited bassist Stu Cook talks about his perspective on the band’s music and his musical career.

The Creedence Clearwater Revisited band was formed a few years ago by Cook and original CCR drummer Doug “Cosmo” Clifford. The “Revisited” band includes John Tristao on guitar and vocals, lead guitarist Tal Morris and multi-instrumentalist Steve Gunner.

Talking about their current tour Cook said: “As I’m playing each one, I try to give it the care and the love each one deserves. When you’re in a concert environment, there’s so much going on, that to say, ‘Oh, gee, I’m tired of this song, I’m not going to throw myself into it’ — that never occurs to any of us. That just goes against the whole purpose of being a good musician and serving the song you’re playing.”

The upcoming tour dates for Creedence Clearwater Revisited include:
