SublimeThe remaining members of Sublime, bassist Eric Wilson and drummer Bud Gaugh, have announced that they will be returning as Sublime.

The official statement from their MySpace page is that they are “thrilled by the opportunity to reconnect with their fans around the world. While we all mourn the passing of our brother and bandmate Bradley Nowell some thirteen years ago, Sublime still has a strong message of hope and love to share.”

The estate of deceased singer Bradley Nowell has tried to keep the band from reforming under the Sublime name, though the attempts at blocking the band have been unsuccessful. Sublime hit the stage yesterday, Saturday October 24, as part of the Smokeout Festival in Devore, CA.

Along with Wilson and Gaugh is new new vocalist/guitarist Rome, all of whom rocked out with the bands classics such as “What I Got,” “Santeria” and “Wrong Way.”

Have not seen anything about a new album yet – but if they do announce one we'll be sure to let you know!

Awesome! I've been needing some new music lately :P

Any word on if there will be a new album?
