Gear Watch: Digitech BP90 Multi-Effects Processor

Digitech BP90 Multi-Effects ProcessorDigitech released the new BP90 Bass Multi-Effects Processor as part of their appearance at the 2010 Summer NAMM Show. Powered by the AudioDNA 2 processor, the BP90 is built to digitally represent equipment including stompboxes, amplifiers, cabinets, and tons of effects. In all, it features 27 effects, 11 amps, five cabinets, and five stompboxes to choose from.

Along with 50 built-in presets to get you started, the Multi-Effects Processor allows for 50 more user preset locations for you to edit and store your own effects settings, bringing the total to 100 preset locations. The BP90 also has 40 drum patterns for practicing as well as a headphone jack for silent use. The expression pedal allows for control over wah, volume, and Whammy effects.
