Robert Hurst Releases “Bob Ya Head”
Jazz bass extraordinaire Robert Hurst has just released his latest album, Bob Ya Head on Bebob Records.
The 13-track effort is Hurst’s fifth album as a leader, and the title says it all. The music is an original and groovy mix of jazz, hip-hop, blues, soul, and World music.
Joining Hurst the album are Scott Kinsey on keys, Marcus Belgrave on trumpet, Vincent Bowens on tenor sax, Darryl “Munyungo” Jackson on percussion and Karriem Riggins on drums.
