A new bass and drum focused “conference in a box” instructional DVD by Christian Music Summit is now out. Bass and Drums features two conference workshops, including a bass workshop by Abraham Laboriel. Laboriel has played more than 4,000 sessions and worship services, and shares his thoughts and techniques in a Bass Master Class. Bass and Drums retails for $29.95.

Funk metal pioneers Infectious Grooves will be reuniting for a one-off performance that will be the group’s first show in over ten years in the U.S. The gig will be at the House of Blues in Hollywood, California on November 23, and is going to be the group’s only appearance in 2010.
