Yes Announces Rite Of Spring U.S. Tour Dates
Anchored by Chris Squire, the veteran prog-rockers in Yes will be hitting the U.S. with a new string of tour dates. The “Rite of Spring Tour” starts March 6, 2011 at the House of Blues in Houston, Texas and works its way around the East Coast and Midwest before ending in Washington, DC on April 4, focusing on clubs and smaller, intimate venues along the way. The group will be performing material from throughout their career, including songs from their albums Drama, Fragile, Close to the Edge, and 90125.
Yes is currently working on a new album in a Los Angeles-based studio, as per the band’s website. Since the band’s 1968 inception Squire has been the band’s sole consistent member, but the current lineup also includes guitarist Steve Howe, drummer Alan White, keyboardist Oliver Wakeman and singer Benoit David.
