Warwick has announced the Star Bass II Single Cut bass, a modified version of their retro-styled Star Bass II. Available in either laminated Flamed Maple or Tigerwood, the hollow body bass features a set Flamed Maple neck and Wenge fingerboard. The new Single Cut also differs from its predecessor with the introduction of passive MEC humbuckers and passive MEC electronics. Warwick threw in their Just-A-Nut III Brass nut, which previously was an upgrade option. Finally, the German made bass is rounded out by Warwick’s chrome hardware.
The Warwick Star Bass II Single Cut is available with 4 or 5-strings, in left or right handed versions, and either fretted or fretless. It will be available for a suggested retail ranging from $7,579-$9,099, depending on options. For more info, visit Warwick’s website.
