Warwick Releases Streamer LX LTD 2011

Warwick Streamer LX LTD 2011 electric bassWarwick unveiled their limited edition model for the year, the Streamer LX LTD 2011. Available in 4 and 5-string versions, the bass is a variant of their Streamer design with woods they use less often.

The 2011 edition sports a Maple body with a plain Blackwood on top. The bolt-on neck is made of Blackwood with Maple stripes and is accompanied by a Maple neck with Blackwood block inlays.

A fretless option is available, in which case the fingerboard is Tigerstripe Ebony. The bass comes with passive Seymour Duncan Soapbars, SSB-4 or SSB-5s depending on the number of strings.

The Warwick Streamer LX LTD 2011 is available now with a suggested retail price of $5,049.00 for the 4-string and $5,489.00 for the 5-string. For more info, visit the Warwick website.

  1. So, did Warwick really stop distributing in America?!! If so, that really blows. I’ve been playing a Corvette Standard 5-string for the last four years and this new Streamer looks AMAZING. The maple neck and the soapbar pickups are a definite plus.

    Wow…This New Warwick Streamer LX LTD 2011 makes my Warwick Pro-M Streamer seem a bit tame!! As time passes, improvement are made! But, I’ll still keep my Pro-M Streamer!!

    IVE JUST PURCHASED THIS MODEL FROM BASS DIRECT LAST WEEK, AND ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW, THIS BASS IS FABTASTIC, IT IS THE BEST BASS IVE EVER HAD AROUND MY NECK, THE SOUNDS THE FEEL,ITS SO PLAYABLE. AND THE WEIGHT IS JUST OVER 8LBS WHICH IS EVEN BETTER. ROB BRADSHAW
