New Hampshire Bass Fest 2011

New Hampshire Bass Fest 2011The fifth annual New Hampshire Bass Festival has been announced for June 15th through the 18th. The four day event, which takes place in Manchester, New Hampshire, is a mixture of school and festival as 16 clinicians from around the globe present classes from 9am to 6pm each day.

The NHBF is directed by Berklee bass and arranging professor Jim Stinnett, who will also be using the festival to celebrate what he has deemed the “Year of the Reading Bassist.” His goal for the year has been to aid all bassists to enhance their reading skills, therefore enhancing their flexibility and gig-worthiness.

“My goal in founding a bass festival in New Hampshire was to provide quality education and the highest level of entertainment,” Stinnett said. “We have done this successfully and are now celebrating our fifth anniversary.”

Tuition for the event is $489. For more details and to register, visit the New Hampshire Bass Festival website.
