Slipknot to Release 10th Anniversary Edition of Iowa

Slipknot: Iowa - 10th Anniversary EditionSlipknot’s second album, Iowa, is being re-released in an special anniversary edition on November 1st.

The anniversary edition is a two-disc set, packaged in a digipak with new artwork and photography. Disc one includes the original album with an added bonus track remix of “My Plague”. Disc two offers the complete live audio from the band’s Disasterpieces DVD, a performance at the London Arena filmed by 30 different cameras. A DVD is also included, featuring the film Goat, directed by M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan and including previously unreleased interviews and footage of the band during the Iowa period and music videos.

Iowa was started in 2000, when the late bassist Paul Gray and drummer Joey Jordison began collaborating on new material. In January, 2001, the band entered the studio to record Gray’s and Jordison’s compositions for Iowa.
