SupreMegaUltraGroovy has updated their Capo app for iOS with version 1.2. Designed for learning, the music app allows for independently adjusting the speed and pitch of any song in your music library. Capo 1.2 adds several features, including mono re-mixing for isolating the left or right channels, which comes in handy for students working with play-alongs.
A 10-band equalizer allows for better boosting and cutting of frequency ranges, which the company says helps bass players focus on the low end when learning tunes. A vocal reduction effect is also included, to help reduce vocal tracks.
Capo 1.2 is available now from the iTunes app store for $19.99, and runs on the iPhone 3GS and above, the 32GB 3rd generation iPod touch and above, and the iPad. Users who already have Capo can update for free.
