Guild Announces B-54CE Standard Acoustic Bass Guitar
As part of their additions to the USA Standard Series, Guild has unveiled the B-54CE Standard acoustic bass guitar. The cutaway bass is built on the company’s jumbo body design and features a solid Sitka spruce top with red spruce bracing, solid maple sides and a unique arched laminated maple back. The body is also bound with Ivoroid.
The B-54CE Standard carries a Fishman Matrix Infinity pickup system, with soundhole-mounted volume and tone knobs as well as a built-in voicing switch. The voicing can be toggled between having enhanced bass response and having a flat response to help reduce boominess.
The Guild B-54CE Standard acoustic bass guitar will be debuting at the NAMM Show, with availability soon after that. Guild lists the bass with an MSRP of $3,129. For more info, visit their website.
