Source Audio debuted their new Soundblox 2 line of pedals at NAMM last week, including the Multiwave Bass Distortion and the brand new Dimension Reverb, designed by Bob “The Chid” Chidlaw. Described as “boldly anti-retro,” the new pedals are housed in compact cast-aluminum housings and have multi-function inputs to support MIDI, an expression pedal, or the company’s Hot Hand control.
The Multiwave Bass Distortion builds upon the original Sounblox series, and includes 23 distortions with clean and mix knobs. The new pedal also features an enhanced 3-band tone control and adjustable noise gate. The brand new Dimension Reverb features 12 unique reverb sounds.
The Soundblox 2 series should be available in February, with MSRPs around $239 for each pedal. For more info, check out the Source Audio website.
