The Original Flecktones: Live at Anthology

Bela Fleck and the Original Flecktones are currently touring in support of their most recent album, Rocket Science.

Pianist/harmonica player Howard Levy returned to the group for the first time since 1991 for the album and tour, which also includes bassist Victor Wooten, percussionist/drummer Roy “Futureman” Wooten and banjoist and leader Bela Fleck.

The band made a stop in San Diego last week, performing at the Anthology. Here’s 11 awesome minutes of that concert.

  2. Wow… just 1 day after Las Vegas gig. That was awesome at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts. Beautiful venue and amazing show. Howard Levy is THE man!

  3. I’d like to see it make a comeback, but Anthology has been closed for several months.
This Flecktones concert took place more than a year ago.

  4. Howard coming back is great!!

I think they made a stop at the Shenandoah Summer Music Festival while on that tour, although I was sorry I missed them.
