Eve Guitars Introduces Elite Line Fretted 4 Bass

Eve Guitars Elite Line Fretted 4 Bass

Eve Guitars, run by luthier Douglass Mullen, has introduced a new line of custom basses following a successful debut at the London Guitar Show in March of this year.

The basses are constructed with hand-selected, sustainable materials from the east coast of Scotland. The company’s focus in instrument making is as much on ergonomics, weight and balance as it is on beauty and sound, and everything they make is hand-crafted.

The first bass model announced is the 24 fret, 35? scale Elite Fretted 4. The bass is created using a combination of cherry, walnut and mahogany woods for the body and headstock, mahogany and ash for the neck and wenge for the fingerboard.

Hardware includes Gotoh tuners, a Spector Professional locking bridge and Kent Armstrong Musicman pickups. Additional options are available.

The Elite Fretted 4 comes with an impressive 25 year guarantee, and pricing is set at US$3,460 (UK: £2,200, Euro: €2,620), directly from Eve Guitars. For more information, visit the company’s website.
