Duesenberg Celebrates Eagles’ 40th Anniversary with Signature Bass

Forty years ago, The Eagles began their career with their self-titled debut album. During the four decades since, the band has earned six Grammys, sold over 120 million albums worldwide, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.

Anchored by bassist Timothy B. Schmidt, the Eagles celebrated the anniversary by teaming up with Duesenberg to create the Eagle Series Guitar and Bass. Based on the company’s Fullerton double-cutaway series, the DBF Eagles Signature Bass features a semi-acoustic maple body with an arched spruce top.

The maple neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard adorned with custom inlays spelling out the band’s name. Its custom gold sparkle paint is accented further by raised 3D wings on the lower part of the body, while all of the hardware is silver-plated.

The pickups are a pair of Duesenberg’s Bass-Buckers. Each instrument comes with a custom case as well.

The Duesenberg DBF Eagles Signature Bass is available with a list price of $5,085. Visit the Duesenberg website for more info.
