Soundgarden Release “King Animal”, Announce Tour Dates
It has been a long time since Soundgarden has released any new material. Sixteen years to be exact.
That’s all changing with the release of King Animal, an album that should have fans rejoicing as the band stays true to their signature sound.
Bassist Ben Shepherd supplies low end support as well as several of the album’s riffs, including the main ones on “Rowing” and “Non-State Actor”.

The band has also announced a Winter 2013 North American tour. Starting at Washington, D.C.’s DAR Constitution Hall, the tour takes the band up the East Coast into Canada and back down the West Coast, ending up at the Wiltern in Los Angeles, California in February (see tour dates below).
King Animal is out now on CD, deluxe edition CD, vinyl and in digital formats (iTunes and Amazon MP3).
