Geddy Lee: The Warner Music Interview

Roman Rogowiecki of Warner Music in Poland sat down with Geddy Lee in a wide ranging interview, where the two discussed Rush, their newest album, Clockwork Angels and a broad range of interesting topics related to both. The 21-minute interview is full of great responses from the always thoughtful and always humble bassist.

Rush is currently on tour in support of Clockwork Angels, the band’s 20th studio release. They will be filming next week’s shows in Phoenix (November 25), and Dallas (November 28) for a live DVD, due to be released in 2013.

  1. GREAT INTERVIEW, WOW!

  2. Romana Rogowieckiego is incorrect. It’s a genitive in polish language. Nominative is Roman Rogowiecki ;). Roman is a great journalist and connoisseur of movies and music. ;) http://www.romanrogowiecki.pl

  3. REALLY glad to see the second half push past the music questions (as interesting as that can be for us geeks) and into some real deep territory on what it means to be human. The tension of the moment for his mom at Auschwitz, realizing the terror and the joy of what came from it with her children by her side… that just hits deep and hard. What a tale! And for fans who now can appreciate all the more what it takes for this band to ever have succeeded, let alone existed. Wow.

  4. What an awesome interview!
