Rolling Stones Release 50 Anniversary Compilation, “Grrr!”

Rolling Stones: Grrr!As part of the band’s 50th anniversary celebration this year, the Rolling Stones have released a mega compilation, Grrr!.

The set spans the group’s five decades together, starting with their first single – a cover of Chuck Berry’s “Come On,” – released in 1963. Two new tracks, “Doom and Gloom” and “One More Shot”, recorded in August of this year, are included. Bonus material in some sets offers up the band’s demos for IBC in 1963, and a bonus 7? EP of a 1964 BBC session.

Grrr! is available in five different packages, including a 40-track, 2 CD jewel case with 12-page booklet; a 50-track, 3 CD digipak with 24-page booklet; a 50-track, 3 CD box set with 36-page hardcover book and five postcards; a 50-track, 5-12? vinyl box set; and the massive 80-track, 4 CD boxset with bonus CD, 7? vinyl, hardcover book, poster and postcards edition. Digital formats are also available.
