James LaBrie Releases “Impermanent Resonance” with Ray Riendeau

James LaBrie: Impermanent ResonanceDream Theater frontman James LaBrie has released his third solo album, Impermanent Resonance, on August 6th in North America and July 29 in Europe.

LaBrie maintained the same lineup as his previous album, which includes bassist Ray Riendeau, LaBrie’s longtime songwriting partner, keyboardist and background vocalist Matt Guillory, guitarist Marco Sfogli, drummer and Dream Theater audition finalist Peter Wildoer (Darkane, Majestic, Arch Enemy). Soilwork guitarist Peter Wichers was also added to the fold for songwriting and guitar recording contributions.

To say Riendeau is pumped about the release is an understatement.

“Having had the chance to listen to [the new album] a ton of times now I can assure you all that this record ROCKS! I’m REAL proud of the bass on this release and it was a blast playing on such great tunes. As always I’m honored and thankful to get to work with such fantastic musicians/friends,” the bassist shared.

Riendeau recorded with his Zon Ray Riendeau Signature 4-string on the track “Letting Go”, and his Zon Sonus 5 string on all other tracks.

Impermanent Resonance is available on CD, vinyl (import) and digital formats (iTunes and Amazon MP3).
