Fender and Squier Introduce New Mike Dirnt Signature Basses

Green Day bassist Mike Dirnt’s Signature basses have gotten a boost with the introduction of the Fender Mike Dirnt Road Worn Precision Bass and an updated version of the Squier Mike Dirnt Precision Bass.

Available in 3-Color Sunburst and White Blonde, the Fender Mike Dirnt Road Worn Precision Bass features original-era 1951 Precision styling with a worn finish to simulate aging. Its ash body is sculpted with a forearm contour while its maple neck has a thick “C”-shaped profile and leads to a ’51-style Telecaster headstock. The fingerboard is a choice of maple or rosewood with a 9.5? radius. Other features include a vintage-style ’59 split single-coil pickup, a side-mounted output jack, and ’70s vintage-style tuners.

Dirnt’s Squier Precision Bass has been upgraded with subtle aesthetic changes including a newly-positioned neck plate star graphic. It’s available in Black with a 4-ply Aged White Pearloid or Arctic White with a 3-ply Tortoiseshell pickguard. The bass is built with an Agathis body, a maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard.
