Juan Alderete Joins Deltron 3030 Tour

Juan AldereteJuan Alderete has announced he will be laying down the low end for hip hop supergroup Deltron 3030 on their upcoming tour. The band, which consists of Dan the Automator, Del the Funky Homosapien and Kid Koala, is hitting the road in support of their latest album, Event II.

“I met Dan “The Automator” Nakamura in the early 90?s when he asked me to record some bass for music he was working on,” Alderete shared on his Pedals and Effects website. “A number of years later, he asked me to join the touring band for Dr. Octagon. We never ended up touring but the month of rehearsals (including a couple of showcases) was one of the most creatively musical situations I’d ever been lucky enough to be a part of. Fast forward to last month: Dan asked me to join his Deltron 3030 touring group and join them in the tour to support their just-released album, Event 2. This album is very unique, groundbreaking and as great as anything The Automator has ever done. Many of the shows will feature a 16-piece orchestra dubbed the ‘3030 Orchestra.’”

The tour kicks off October 8th at Paradise in Boston, Massachusetts before covering the East Coast and Mid-West, ending up in Asheville, North Carolina on October 25th.
