Metallica: Through The Never Film Playing Nationwide
Metallica: Through The Never is now showing at theaters across the U.S. Part concert, part action, the film centers around a roadie named Trip who is sent out to recover a mystery item during the band’s sold-out arena performance. His journey takes a drastic turn when he’s involved in a car accident and subsequently finds himself in a surreal, apocalyptic setting fighting against deadly horsemen.
“It’s a surrealistic journey. It’s a surrealistic nightmare,” says bassist Robert Trujillo. “It takes you on an adventure, a bit roller coaster ride.”
The concert portion of Through the Never has Metallica performing tracks from throughout their career, ranging from “Creeping Death” to “Fuel” to “Orion.”
A soundtrack to the film is also now available, which also contains the live recordings used in the movie.
