Bio:

I have been playing music since I was seven, first starting with cello and than moving to bass guitar when I turned 11. It has always been my passion and my form of meditation. When my mom was diagnosed with with brain cancer my senior year of high school, I did not know what to do. Suddenly a very powerful and influential figure in my life became very sick. It was incredibly hard to deal with and at first I did not know what to do. I decided to take all of my focus and put it into music and playing the bass. Music was very instrumental in allowing myself to get through that tough part of my life and without it I do not know what I would have done. That period in my life taught me how to communicate with other much more efficiently through the music I was playing. Playing the bass has allowed me to describe to others what I am feeling much more efficiently rather than trying to poorly describe what sad or happy feels like to me. This ability to communicate much more clearly is what made me fall in love with music. I do not need to know every language in the world to communicate to someone, I only have to pull out my bass and play whatever my heart is feeling. Music has been a large part of my life and I am looking forward to where it will take me in the future.
