  1. Played one of these today.A HD75 with the 12. Nicest of the affordable, light weight amps I have played. I played a cheap but decent sounding Toby 5 to make sure its a real amp test. My Spector Custom 5 makes anything sound good. In the running for me to buy? The Promiesthius 15 Ibanez (Have not found one to play), the Peavey TKO 300W 15 (Clean tone and powerful. a bit heavy and one tone really), the new Fender Rumble (boxy sounding, not for me) and the T.C. Electronics BG250W 15 (Like it, then don’t, nice features but…meh? Questionable reliabiilty) but this little amp had “That Tone”…It was loud and clean as long as I dialed off some of the lows as the volume knob went higher. I know the 15” model is a bit heavier, but to grab handles and I still think its around 50lbs. I think the HD150 is going to be siting in my home studio Christmas time!
