Neon Trees Reschedule Tour After Bassist’s Surgery
Just two weeks after announcing their “First Things First” tour, Neon Trees have decided to reschedule several dates due to Branden Campbell’s health. A statement on the band’s website says the bassist recently underwent open-heart surgery for a valve replacement and was advised to take it easy.
“The intense touring schedule has been exhaustive and doctors have advised him to slow down,” they write. “We had initially thought we should cancel the entire tour, but Branden wouldn’t let us, thus the new abridged dates can be found on our website. We are very sorry that we are postponing some of our upcoming dates. Obviously, our bass player’s health must come first, and we thank all of our fans for understanding. We will make it up to you in the near future – we promise.”
Over half of the dates are slated to be rescheduled, including shows in New Mexico, Colorado, Florida, Kansas, Indiana, and more. The current tour dates are posted below.
We’re wishing Branden a speedy recovery!
