“Songs From Tsongas” from Yes Reissued in Special Edition

Yes: Songs from Tsongas Special Edition ReissueA performance from the last tour featuring the classic Yes lineup of bassist Chris Squire, singer Jon Anderson, guitarist Steve Howe, keyboardist Rick Wakeman, and drummer Alan White, has been released in a special edition on CD, DVD and Blu-ray.

The Songs From Tsongas special edition DVD and Blu-ray packages not only capture a previously released show at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell, Mass. on the band’s 2004 35th anniversary tour, but also also include 70 minutes of performances from another tour show, this one in Switzerland: Live at Lugano.

Both shows included a long acoustic set. Just check out what “Owner of a Lonely Heart” sounds like “unplugged” in this clip from the Tsongas performance:

The DVD/Blu-ray packages not only include video of the shows, but also a bonus track and an interview with Roger Dean, creator of many of the band’s iconic album covers, about the set he designed for the tour.

The special edition is available on one Blu-ray disc, two DVDs, three CDs, and for digital download (Amazon MP3 — music) or (iTunes — video).

great video, nice to see real amps on stage! the main thing that stands out in this video for me are the vocals.
