La Banda de Arturex: Bebe
Bassist Didier Parra can lay down a serious groove, as you’ll see in this video he shared with us.
The band is La Banda de Arturex. “We make some kind of experimental music starting on funk,” Didier shared.
The band was created by Paraguayan guitarist and composer Arturo Estigarribia, and Didier said this song is based on a poem from Paraguayan poet Manuel Ortiz Guerrero.
The rest of the band is a mix of well known session players from Paraguay including Edgar Chamorro on drums and German Lema on Hammond.
Didier handles not only the bass work, but the engineering and production as well.
