Mike Gordon Announces Interactive Tour
Mike Gordon has announced he’ll be be hitting the road in June in support of his latest album, Overstep. Starting in Charleston, South Carolina, the tour will focus on the East Coast and Midwest with 16 dates. It wraps up June 28th at Philadelphia’s Union Transfer.
Gordon will be joined by guitarist Scott Murawski, percussionist Craig Myers, keyboardist Robert Walter, and drummer John Kimock. The bassist hinted that each show will be a interactive performance.
“Of the theatrics and curiosities onstage on the Overstep tour, the centerpiece is an interactive piano-like instrument spanning the lip of the stage,” his press release states. “At certain points during the show, touch-sensitive panels illuminate; by tapping on them, audience members trigger sounds and jam with the band as it plays. That’s just one piece of the big wacky puzzle.”

When are you guys coming down south to Houston , Texas where the sun shines all of time.
I’m sure you and your band mates would draw a crowd. Is Mark Gordon your brother , I know him well, living in California ,where I might move soon so I have at least one friend.
I’m telling you I get no respect , last weekend my girlfriend said , honey aren’t you going to take out the garbage, I said you take it out , you cooked it.
I don’t know where she’s been all week ,I took the garbage out the next morning.
Well keep making these good videos and music , it cracked me up as did the one with you building a home. Don’t know why anyone replied to that it was great. You did a good job sanding the aluminum siding.
I don’t think people catch onto the humor side of that video , plus you didn’t have to say a word.
Well I went and typed too much again with this OCD I have on top of ADHD, CPD, RSD plus DES or Dry Eye Syndrome , not being able to cry but drool out the closest orifice.
