Spector Introduces Limited Edition Mike Starr Signature Euro4LX Bass

Spector Euro4LX Mike Starr LE Signature Bass

Spector Basses has introduced a new Mike Starr Signature version of their Euro4LX bass. Available as a limited edition, the bass is crafted in the company’s Czech factory and will only be available for order in the 2015 calendar year.

“We started working with Mike on this before he passed away,” Spector’s PJ Rubal told us. “He’s known for his NS-2’s, but he also had Czech and Korean basses that he used. After he passed away, the family reached out to me to finish the bass saying that’s what they wanted for him. We’re making them for this year in honor of Mike for the family and the fans.”

It’s fitted with a set of EMG P/J pickups matched to Spector’s TonePump preamp. Controls include separate volume knobs for each pickup, treble boost, bass boost, and an internal output trim pot.
