The Stones Give “Sticky Fingers” Extensive Reissue

The Rolling Stones’ Sticky Fingers is an iconic album, from its Andy Warhol-designed cover featuring a fly that really zipped open, to its songs, like “Brown Sugar,” “Wild Horses,” “Can’t You Hear Me Knocking,” and “Bitch.”

Now, the 1971 record has been reissued in all its glory, to coincide with the Stones’ North American “Zip Code” Tour, in a vinyl set that includes that zippable cover, as well as alternate versions of the record’s songs and live sets from ’71, when Bill Wyman was holding down the low end for the group.

The reissue is being released on more than vinyl, with deluxe edition sets and deluxe boxsets on CD, as well as deluxe downloads, available. The deluxe edition CD boxset features a DVD, with two performances from 1971 at the Marquee Club in London. The super deluxe CD boxset includes the Marquee DVD and the “Get Yer Leeds Lungs Out” disc of a 1971 show at Leeds University, and a book, poster and 7-inch vinyl record featuring “Brown Sugar” and “Wild Horses.”

The Sticky Fingers reissue is available deluxe vinyl set, deluxe CD set, deluxe, deluxe download, super deluxe download (iTunes and Amazon MP3), super deluxe box set, 2-CD/1DVD deluxe edition box set.
