Bass Centre Announced Revamped Power Bass Series
The Bass Centre has revamped their vintage-inspired Power Bass series for 2015 with a several new features. According to the manufacturer, the lineup has been “re-imagined to blend period accurate looks & a classic sound with modern, light weight construction & a super fast, satin finish neck.”
One of the main upgrades is the inclusion of the Babicz Full Contact Hardware bridge, which they explain provides 50 times more contact surface area per saddle compared to conventional saddle designs. Each bass will also have a Diago Twistlock strap button, a one-piece, low-profile system to secure your strap.
Other features include a new contour for its basswood body, a satin-finished maple neck with pre-CBS-style clay dot markers, and a passive vintage split single coil pickup.
The Bass Centre Power Bass comes in fretted or fretless versions and is available now with a street price of approximately $606.
