Korn To Play Debut Album In Entirety On US Tour

Korn

Metal mainstays Korn have announced that they will be celebrating their self-titled debut album by performing it in its entirety on an extensive US tour. Focusing on more intimate venues, the trek will begin at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago and snake across the entire country over the month of October.

The record, which was released in 1994, changed the entire heavy music scene and influenced a generation of bands. Rolling Stone called it the most important metal album of the last 20 years. It’s also the album that put bassist Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu on the map with his aggressive slap style on songs like “Blind”. Check out the original music video:

Korn’s tour will feature support from Suicide Silence, featuring bassist Dan Kenny, and Islander, featuring bassist Chris Doot.
