Rockn Stompn Updates RS-4 Sequential Power Supply
Rockn Stompn has announced an updated version of their RS-4 sequential power strip that features three new modes of operation. The pedal utilizes a footswitch to send power to four sets of outlets in delayed timing in order to power your gear up in the correct order.
The updated version now includes an Instant On Mode, Receptacle One Always On Mode, and Timer Mode. Instant On begins the On Delay sequence as soon as AC power is applied to the RS-4. “This is useful in a stage or studio environment where the RS-4 may not be the main power switch but you still want the instant on convenience of a conventional power strip but with the added advantages of the power sequencer,” the company shared.
Receptacle One Always On keeps the first set of outlets always on while the remaining receptacles can be set from 1 to 15 seconds via the footswitch. Finally, Timer Mode will automatically shut off power sequentially after a designated number of hours.
Other features includes a professional surge protector, EMI/RFI noise filtering, power conditioning, and over-voltage/over-current protection. The updated Rockn Stompn RS-4 is made in the U.S.A. and is available now for $299.99. The company is also offering current RS-4 owners the opportunity to send their units in to be upgraded for free.
