Hartke Introduces TX600 Lightweight Bass Amp

Hartke TX600 Bass Amp

Hartke turned some heads when they unveiled the TX600 at this year’s Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. The 600-watt bass amp is the company’s first lightweight Class D amp, weighing in at a mere 7 pounds.

The front end of the amp includes the same Class A tube preamp circuitry from Hartke’s LH Series with separate inputs for active and passive basses. It has a built-in compressor, 3-band EQ, and a Brite switch for added high end. The mid-range can be dialed in with Frequency and Shape knobs. The back lighting behind the Compressor and Gain knobs indicates your level of use for visual representations of your dynamics.

Other features include an aluminum chassis, a mute switch, a headphone output, a balanced XLR output, and an auxiliary input. The TX600 will be shipping this summer with a street price of $449.
