Source Audio Now Shipping Aftershock Bass Distortion

Source Audio Aftershock Bass DistortionSource Audio is now shipping their Aftershock Bass Distortion. The pedal boasts three distortion engines – Tube, Heavy, and Fuzz – as well as the company’s Neuro Mobile App capabilities for deep tonal tweaking.

“The Tube engine belts out a subtle, but powerful vintage tube overdrive with a smooth breakup and plenty of punch,” Source Audio explains. “Heavy creates an aggressive scooped sound with ample highs and thundering lows. The Fuzz engine offers intense germanium fuzz tones with loads of bottom and mucho grit.”

Each of the distortion types are controlled with Drive and Tone knobs with a Clean knob for dialing in your direct signal. As with all the models in the One Series line, the Aftershock can connect to the Neuro App to access EQing and the company’s free library of over 40 overdrive, fuzz, and distortion algorithms. Other features include stereo inputs and outputs, an external control, and Universal Bypass.

The Source Audio Aftershock Bass Distortion is shipping now for $149.

So far so good. Well made, and quality sound. The customization is deep and I haven’t gotten deep into it yet.
