Previously Unreleased Bad Company Performances Available on Live Set
The bass work of the late Boz Burrell can be heard on a two-CD live set of Bad Company performances recorded in 1977 and 1979.
Simply titled Bad Company: Live in Concert 1977 & 1979, the set captures the band’s original lineup as it supported the Burnin’ Sky and Desolation Angels albums, respectively, from original 24-track tapes.
Vocalist Paul Rodgers tells Billboard magazine that he was skeptical when Rhino records approached him about releasing the previously unheard live recordings. “But when I listened I was quite surprised. There’s a couple things on there, like ‘Leaving You,’ which I didn’t even know we’d actually played live, ever. And it’s got a great feel, better than the record. There’s some things that have turned up that have actually surprised all of us, and I thought, ‘Well, if it’s interesting to me perhaps it’s interesting to the fans.'”
Bad Company: Live in Concert 1977 & 1979 is available on CD and as a digital download (iTunes and Amazon MP3).

Didn’t Rock n’ Roll officially die when the first Bad Company album was released?
Heheh. This was from a skit from The Kids in the Hall back in the 80’s.
