Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals Announce Tour Dates
Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals crafted a new album after reforming for a 2015 tour, and now, the band, featuring the inimitable Juan Nelson on bass, is touring behind that album, Call It What It Is.
The Call It What It Is Tour kicks off June 23 at Marymoor Park in Redmond, Washington, and wraps up Dec. 4 at Michael Fowler Center in Wellington, New Zealand.
On the North American leg of the tour, the band will be joined by an assortment of guests. The Jack Moves will open some dates, others will feature either special guests City & Colour, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, or Tom Freund, with Sadie Wagoner as the opener. For the Aug. 19 date at the Hollywood Bowl, City & Colour will appear with the band and the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
Ticket information is available via Ben Harper’s site.
