Crowbar Announces Bass Changeup

Crowbar

Crowbar’s lineup has gotten a little shakeup after the band announced that bassist Jeff Golden has left their ranks. Bandleader Kirk Windstein made the announcement on Facebook.

“As many of you may have heard, we have parted ways with Jeff Golden, and he is no longer our bassist. Being in a band is like being in a relationship and things don’t always work out. We want to thank Jeff for his dedication and loyalty and we sincerely wish him and his family all the best in the future.”

Golden’s replacement has already been announced and it’s a doozie. Original bassist Todd Strange will step back into the fold sixteen years after he left. Strange held the bass throne from 1990 to 2000 and was featured on six albums.

Crowbar has been in the studio working on their next release. They’re also slated to hit the road on a North American tour through July and August.
