Eve Guitars Introduces the Lunna Bass

Eve Guitars Lunna Bass

Eve Guitars has unveiled the Lunna Bass, a single-cut model that’s made in the UK. Available in four-, five-, or six-string versions, the bass is described as sitting at the top of the Eve range and “fully customisable to meet your own preference and playing style.”

It’s crafted with a quartersawn sapele bolt-on neck topped with a wenge fingerboard, but the body and top have several choices. Bodies can be made from American Ash, Mahogany, Sycamore, Iroko or Walnut, while the exotic tops offered include Spalted Beech, Wenge, Zebrano, Paduak or Walnut. Fretless and left-handed versions can be made at no extra cost.

For electronics, Eve fits the Lunna with a pair of vintage-style humbuckers complete with series/parallel/coil tap switching. They’re matched to an Eve 2-band preamp with a volume knob, a pickup blend knob, and a stacked active treble/bass knob. A 3-way switch adds active/passive and mute functionality. Hardware on the bass include a Spector Professional locking bridge, an ABM adjustable nut, and Schaller tuners.

The Eve Guitars Lunna bass is built to order starting at $3,059 for a four-string. $3,569 for a five-string, and $4,077 for a six-string.
