Ben Jones

Meet Ben Jones, a busy, working bassist who started out on drums, then heard Stanley Clarke while trying to learn the guitar – and the rest is history.

Ben is this week’s No Treble reader in the spotlight. Here’s his story…

Bio:

I started off as a drummer very young and then graduated to bass around the age of 14. I have been playing professionally since about the age of 17 and have been blessed to play all over the world with numerous local and national acts. Credits include The Neville Brothers, Jeff Lorber, Rick Braun, Peter White, Jennifer Batten, David Pack (Ambrosia), Charmaine Neville, Frank McComb, Darren Rahn, PaulBrown, Noel Pointer, Phyllis Hyman and Anita Baker.

I have a band called Just Friends, and I work with many artists in both studio and live situations.
