Bogner Introduces the Lyndhurst Compressor Pedal

Bogner Lyndhurst Compressor PedalAmp designer Reinhold Bogner recently unveiled a series of effects pedals, and now he’s added to it with the Lyndhurst Compressor. The pedal was born from a collaboration with Bogner and legendary electronics engineer Rupert Neve to give the sounds of vintage mixing boards into your pedalboard.

“The Lyndhurst compressor combines the best of both worlds, state of the art precision VCA technology usually only found in expensive outboard gear and a high current driven Rupert Neve Designs audio transformer for a 3D Sonic Image quality rich in harmonics with added vintage warms just like we love them from the classic recording,” the Bogner website states.

The pedal has typical Ratio, Comp, and Level controls plus a pair of switches for dialing in your sound. A three-position EQ switch for retaining your high end, while a two-position Attack switch allows for auto dynamic attack and release or adjustable attack time control.

The Lyndhurst features true bypass switching and is built with premium components including double-sided gold-plated circuit boards, German WIMA capacitors, Japanese Nichicon capacitors and gold plated relays, Carling switch and more. It’s available now for $279.99.
